- Lastly, you should heat the exterior of the pipe with a hair dryer. Be sure to slowly apply the heat. Move the hair dryer back and forth like you do when you’re drying your hair.
YOU SHOULD NEVER ATTEMPT TO THAW EXPOSED PIPES WITH AN OPEN FLAME, SUCH AS AN ACETYLENE TORCH.
